When my album stalled with one engineer, I started a new project with another and completed The Growth in two weeks. It proved that I didn’t have to wait on anyone else to keep creating. I designed and produced this tee for the project.

The Work

I had been working on The Other Side of Paradise for a while, but the album had stalled with my engineer. Rather than keep waiting, I started a completely different project with another engineer and completed it in about two weeks. The Growth showed me that one stalled project did not have to stop me from making another.

eLO produced most of the project in the living room while I sat beside him. I would hear something, start freestyling, and we kept whatever felt right. EnWhy and Andre Paxton each produced one song, bringing their sound to the project.

I designed and produced the tee using the same artwork I created for the album cover. It was released in a small run in 2016 and has never been made again. Only four remain, all in size medium.
