The Story

BELIEF ISN'T THE SAME AS KNOWING

I was raised with a name for God and a set of answers. Then I started asking questions, and the search led me to Yahweh. One night, worn down and far from the reason I came to Los Angeles, I felt a dark presence in my apartment.

Yahweh was the name I called. I repeated it until the dim lights turned bright and the presence was gone. The name became the chant, the chant became the hook, and the prayer became the verse.
