The Story

Jea-lou-sy breeds enemies

I was doomscrolling TikTok after posting when ClassicNewWave popped up, playing this beat on an MPC. I didn’t know her, but her vibe was undeniable. I downloaded the clip, and the lyrics came to me instantly. It all came together in less than an hour.

World Go Round comes from the saying, and from the old song she sampled to make the beat. The Earth is a place where the crazy things in it make it go round. That’s what keeps people interested. We fall for the same traps every time.

It’s an ode to hip hop, so it will never be for sale. I recorded and mixed it in my studio and sent it to her. She loved it.

I heard it, and the lyrics came to me instantly.

The cover reveals the wheel full of eyes as the Ophanim, Ezekiel’s wheel from the Bible. Cherubs sent to guard me on a journey that at times feels like hell.

On May 8, 2026, I released it as an animated video, built from clips I illustrated. It was the first time I animated anything for my music.

I used it to test a theory: a hybrid workflow, traditional illustration combined with AI tools, specifically Seedance 2.0. Drawing and animating the concept cost me a lot of time, especially for something I could never sell.

It was worth it. That test became the way I plan to release all my music: the song, the art and the film together. That’s why World Go Round is chapter one of The Other Side of Paradise.
